How to Cancel Crunchyroll (2026) — Every Billing Route
Crunchyroll Premium is cancelled from your account page, and access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
It is sold through a lot of third parties, so if the cancel option is missing, the charge is coming from somewhere else — Apple, Google, Roku or a console store.
Crunchyroll cannot cancel a subscription billed by Apple, Google, Roku or PlayStation. Its own account page will simply not show the option, which is what makes people think it is broken.
Cancel Crunchyroll step by step
- Open crunchyroll.com/acct and sign in.
- Select Membership, then Cancel Membership.
- Work past the offers and confirm.
- Check the page shows an expiry date.
- If you subscribed in the app, Apple bills you.
- Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Crunchyroll, Cancel Subscription.
- If billed via Google Play, cancel there.
- Play Store, profile icon, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Crunchyroll, Cancel.
Common questions
Why is there no cancel option on my account page?
Because someone else bills you — Apple, Google, Roku, PlayStation or a similar store. Only they can cancel it.
Do I get a refund?
Crunchyroll does not normally refund partial periods, and access continues until the end of the term. If you are in the EU and it is less than 14 days since you signed up, you have more leverage than that: since a July 2026 EU Court of Justice ruling, streaming counts as a digital service, so starting to watch no longer waives your cooling-off right. You can withdraw within 14 days, pay only for the portion you actually used, and get the rest back. It is recent, so expect to have to name the right of withdrawal when you ask.
What happens to my watchlist and history?
Both stay with the account and return if you resubscribe.
What about offline downloads?
They stop playing when Premium ends and are removed from the app.
Do I keep manga access?
Digital manga included with Premium ends with it. Anything bought separately is unaffected.
When does Premium actually end?
At the end of the current billing period, not immediately.
Can I still watch anything for free?
Yes, Crunchyroll keeps a free ad-supported tier with a smaller catalogue and delayed simulcasts.
Does cancelling delete my account?
No. Your login, watchlist and comments stay.
What happens to a Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan plan?
The extra benefits, including offline viewing and the store discount, end with the tier.
Will an annual plan be refunded?
No. It stops renewing but runs to the end of the year you paid for.
